Most new build properties are built to very high specifications. Additionally, they are often bough “off-plan”, for completion of the building at a future date. Both these fact preclude the need for a survey on a new build property. For a re-sale property, we would encourage you to have a survey carried out. For a few hundred euros it will uncover any structural issues with the building and will provide much needed peace of mind prior to purchase. We have relationships with English speaking chartered surveyors and are happy to recommend either of these to you.
