Where to Buy |
Where you choose to buy will depend largely on aspect of the region that attracts you the most (be it golf, seaside, proximity to the bodegas and wine region, vibrant nightlife, walks in the mountains, or immersing yourself in true Spanish life) and, of course, how much you wish to spend. It will also depend on whether you wish to buy as an investor or if you a looking for a second or holiday home.
However, Valencia still represents excellent value for money with average property prices being 45% lower than Madrid, 32% lower than Barcelona and 18% lower than Andalucia. For those with an interest in golf Valencia already has several fine golf courses, including the top El Saler Golf Course, with even more developments in the works. Further down the coast in Oliva there is the famous Oliva Nove Golf Course designed by Severiano Ballesteros. Many golf course properties have enjoyed excellent investment returns in recent years.
